Why are the bees disappearing?
There is yet no consensus on what is causing the decline in honeybees, or the phenomenon termed "Colony Collapse Disorder" (CCD). Current research, however, is beginning to point to the most obvious culprit, humans and our pesticides. “CCD” is a sad misnomer, implying the bees are the ones with the disorder. Our understanding of our environment is broken, not the bees - they are only the messengers. Help the bees by keeping your yard and garden organic.  Pesticides are bad for pollinators and humans alike.
